Snow, Snow, Snow, Snow, Snow, Snow, Me
When I woke up this morning, I looked out the big window in the kitchen and saw snow, snow, snow, snow, snow, snow, snow . . . .

Expanding My Vocabulary
I've picked up a few new words since I last posted:
- Bob: the elwoh (see below), rectangular guy on the cartoons
- bot bok: the container I take to school that holds my lunch
- Dahhy: the grown up with the black-rimmed glasses who feeds the ditties (see below) and gets my belly (pictured)
- ditty: any of the furry, four-legged creatures that roam our housed (pictured)
- elwoh: the color of Bob and bananas
- owie: a heavy jacket

I'm Back
Daddy finally figured out the problem with my blog template (the problem that caused the background to be solid purple). Now that we've crossed that bridge, I'll make an effort to post more frequently.

I Suppose I Need a Name for My Brother
Mommy and Daddy are a little disappointed that I still don't have a name for my brother even though I have names for three of the five Backyardigans. To that I say, "The Backyardigans have never wrestled me to the ground and yelled, 'You're yucky!' "
But Meyer is my brother, regardless of how many times he squirts me in the face with soapy water, so I should probably come up with something to call him. Here's what I've got:
Meymi
It's pronounced MIGH-mee. Think of the words my and me combined into one word.
Naturally, this will cause people problems. "Meymi" is one vowel sound away from being "Mommy" or "Mimi." And, since I'm not quite two years old, I have trouble pronouncing vowel sounds clearly. Sorry, you'll just have to rely on context clues.

Life Is Cruel
Thanks to diapers, hand-me-down shoes, an aggressive older brother, and the church nursery, my life is already pretty hard. But Wednesday Mommy and Daddy decided that I had it a little too easy and that they needed to make my life even more difficult. So they made me dress like a bug for an entire day. A bug! Something that people smash, ward off with citronella candles, or kill with insecticide. What a miserable fate! In addition to the indignity of spending the day as an insect, the costume itself was oppressively hot and covered pretty much my entire body.

Meyer, by contrast, got to dress as his favorite cartoon character. The injustice stings like bug spray.
